Job Description

The Voorheesville Central School District has one full-time leave replacement classroom teacher position available at the Voorheesville Elementary School.  Salary and benefits for this position as aligned to the VTA contract.  The position begins approximately January 2, 2025 and ends approximately June 25, 2025.

Job Qualifications

1.        Fully certified (Elementary 1-6 and Birth-Grade 2) in New York State. 
2.        Special Education experience is a plus.
3.        Background/coursework in Literacy preferred.
4.        Experience with primary-age students is necessary.
5.        Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
7.        Good college record and excellent references.
8.        Dedicated to teaching and to students.

9.        NYS OSPRA fingerprint clearance required.
