Elementary Classroom Teacher

 

The Position

The Voorheesville Central School District has one full-time probationary classroom teacher position available at the Voorheesville Elementary School.  Salary and benefits for this position are as stated in the current teacher contract. This position begins September 1, 2026.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications

1.        Fully certified (Elementary 1-6 and Birth-Grade 2) in New York State.

2.        Special Education Certification or experience is a plus.

3.        Background/coursework in Literacy preferred.

4.        Experience with primary-age students necessary.

5.        Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

7.        Good college record and excellent references.

8.        Dedicated to teaching and to students.
