Job Description

The Voorheesville Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for School Nurse Substitute positions to provide nursing care during the 2026-2027 school year.

General Duties

1. Communicate with parents and staff regarding health needs and concerns.
2. Administer medication (as ordered by physician) according to regulations and policy, if needed.
3. Complete and file accident/incident reports as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

 Qualifications

1. Licensed RN or LPN.

2. Experience in school nursing preferred.

     3.  Excellent health, work habits, and employment attendance history.

     4.  Good college record and excellent references.

     5.  Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

      6.  Fingerprint clearance in accordance with the regulations of NYSED
