The Position

The Voorheesville Central School District has one part-time, temporary position for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support to special education students in the K-6 summer special education setting. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with the Special Education Teachers and other related service providers. The hours for the Summer Program will be 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., hours & days of SLP to be determined (anticipated 15 hours per week), July 6 through August 14, 2026. Salary and benefits per VTA contract.

General Duties

1. Provide support to special education students.
2. Assist in the implementation of individual education plan.
3. Work closely with Special Education Teacher and Teaching Assistants to help the students maximize their efforts.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications

1. Fully certified in Speech-Language Pathology in New York State.
2. Current license and Certification of Clinical Competence preferred.
3. Excellent health, work habits, and employment attendance history.
4. Previous school experience preferred.
5. Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
6. OSPRA fingerprint clearance required.
