Speech Language Pathologist and/or Therapist

 

The Position

The Voorheesville Central School District has one full-time, probationary position for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/SLT) beginning September 1, 2026. The person appointed to this position will be responsible for providing individualized or group speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, in addition to conducting evaluations and providing support to classroom staff in the areas of program modifications and inclusion. Salary and benefits are as stated in the teacher contract. Position to begin September 1, 2026.

           

Job Qualifications

Qualifications

1. NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist preferred
2. ASHA CCC a plus
3. Fully certified in New York State as a Speech and Language Disabilities Teacher will be considered.
4. Master’s Degree required.
5. Experience at elementary and secondary level desirable.
6. Strong academic record and references.
7. Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
